Club Maitland City's commitment to responsible gambling

Club Maitland City is committed to providing gaming entertainment for our members and guests in a responsible and safe manner. As part of this commitment, the Club actively supports and participates in a range of responsible gaming initiatives designed to minimise harm and promote informed choices around gaming.

Problem gambling may be identified by a loss of control over gambling behaviour, including how often a person gambles, the amount of money wagered and the amount of time spent gambling. This loss of control can lead to a range of negative consequences, including financial hardship, relationship difficulties and impacts on employment.

Unlike alcohol-related issues, gambling-related harm can often be less visible. For this reason, responsible gambling practices are essential. Club Maitland City staff are trained to observe and respond to potential signs of gambling-related harm and to assist patrons by providing information, support and access to appropriate resources where required.
